Sunday July 20

Max - today we packed our toys for granny camp. And mommy got me a new pony game on her kindle where you have to find the elements of harmony. 

Meggie - I was watching backyardigans and it was spooky. 

Claire - it is nice to get to focus on home and family instead of studying for my pmp exam!

Isobel - today I ate cheese and chili for dinner. I liked both but I liked the cheese the most. 

Mark - I vacuumed the house today and worked. 

Sunday June 29

Meggie - my daddy gave me a pickle for lunch. I went shopping with daddy. We went 4 places. 

Max - daddy made me pizza for dinner 

Isobel - I am eating my yogurt all by myself like a big girl. 

Claire - I had a good first day of being 40. Including a nap! :)

Mark - I did a lot of chores and made dinner. 

Father's Day

Nik - I got to work on the Lego Star Wars and I finished all my thank you notes. 

Meggie - I made Daddy a brownie

Max - I went in the pool at Lily's birthday party

Julian - I rearranged my room and it is Father's Day 

Isobel - I took a nap with Daddy

Claire - I took Meggie to giant and Max to his party. 

Wednesday June 11

Isobel - mama

Julian (selected by Isobel saying rawr) - this morning there was a storm this morning. No more playing music in band after today. 

Nik - today I got to finish my shield for medieval day. 

Max - I was copying Meggie and Izzy

Meggie - I went to Costco with NannyJo 

Mark - I got to go to the corporate office today for the first time. 

Claire - I was able to knit almost an entire sock for Meggie today. 

Monday March 3

Nik - today DJ and I went sledding and played minecraft

Julian - I didn't achieve much other than playing a lot of minecraft and the laundry

Isobel - today I played with Meggie's carseat like it was my own lazy boy recliner

Meggie - (no news. Just snow)

Claire - today I added carrots to the quiche. Mark and I like it better. Plus hashbrowns. 

Mark - I updated my links. This has been a goal for a long time

Max - I watched Julian explode a whole library (on minecraft)

Sunday March 2

Nik - I recorded my trombone playing today

Mark - I saw all the lanes open at Costco today for the first time ever. 

Isobel - I was dressed like a ladybug for my brunch date today

Claire - I am glad I got to go to brunch and go on a family walk before the storm

Meggie - I didn't go to school. 

Julian - I got to ride my scooter and do chores and sleep in

Max - l went for a walk with my family

Wednesday February 19

Nik - I got to talk to my mom. I am delighted to get to see her tomorrow. 

Julian - I studied for civics and practiced my instrument. Yesterday we had a lock down drill. I gained the ability to fly. 

Max - I had a pajama day becauseI stayed   home with daddy. 

Claire - I made a baby hat. And cookies. 

Meggie - I goed to school. I got a letter from my teacher and it has money and you have to match it perfectly. 

Mark - it was nice to get a nap this morning.

Izzy - I am the reason daddy needed a nap. 

Tuesday February 4

Happy birthday Sheena!

Nik - I played on the computer and we had a fire drill

Claire - today I learned Hill House is closing. What a pain. Also HAL is one letter off from IBM. 

Julian - I did well in math. Our schedules changed at school today but mine didn't because I have 2 full year electives. 

Max - I can blow in my straw and hear it in my ear

Isobel - I am wearing an outfit that was once Max's 

Meggie - I wore my rainbow striped shirt

Mark - I tried to make a good impression for my new career. 

Saturday February 1

Nik - today I turned in my narrative to my teacher after Claire checked it 

Julian - today I went to Home Depot an helped daddy work on the pipe insulation downstairs

Max - I played with Julian today

Meggie - I walked around the block with my family. Max went too far and daddy said come here max. 

Claire - I went on a family walk, watched the princess and the frog with max and Meggie, and even did a little knitting on a sweater for Isobel. I did some knitting with Meggie. And we had Olive Garden soup for dinner. Yum. 

Isobel - I am a poor baby. My baby life is very hard. Wah wah. 

Mark - it was a disappointment to not do better on the pre test for my certification. I have a lot of studying to do. It was nice to watch Sherlock with Claire last night. 

Thursday January 23

Nik - I played a video game with my friend

Julian - I took a shower and did chores and played lots of video games. 

Meggie - I didn't have school.

Claire - I finished a super sekrit knitting project except for blocking. 

Max - I had OT even tho it was the wrong day

Isobel - I can make my belly dance. I like to dance to the music in my head. I climbed all the way up the stairs today after my brother left the gate open. 

Mark - short day is good. 

Wednesday January 22

Izzy - I ate watermelon and rejected Nutella oatmeal. I am a freak. Also I wore jeggings which cracked mommy up. 

Max - Isobel picked me! She looked at me. I played in the snow. 

Nik - today me and max started playing Kirby's return to dreamland on the wii u. And I played outside in the snow with max and Meggie

Julian - I got really far in the legend of Zelda today. I also got to de ice the Prius. It was really cold. 

Meggie - I played with Nik in the snow

Daddy - I don't have anything nice to say

Claire - I made a pixie hat for Isobel. 

  

Monday January 20

Izzy - I drank a little milk from a cup. I made a big mess. 

Nik - I played with my friend. 

Julian - I got jerky at the store. It was the most expensive item we purchased. 

Max - today we are having chili

Claire - I found the missing sweater I am knitting for Isobel. 

Meggie - I am playing with my puzzle from Duncan

Mark - it was nice to have a day where I did not work at all. Not even a little bit. 

Maggie's Fourth Birthday

Nik - I did my homework in the morning so I had a lot of time to play. Meggie is very playful. 

Isobel - I played with NannyJo. Meggie is a good sister to me (and did my news fr me)

Max - Meggie is my best friend. Forever!!

Julian - I found out when my civics is due. Meggie is adventurous and smells good. 

Mark - I found out my company lost their protest. Meggie gives lots of hugs. 

Claire - I was home sick today. I read and slept. It was good. Meggie is sassy and affectionate. 

Meggie - I went to school and had pumpkin muffins. I turned 4 in the night. I like to pretend to be a puppy. 

Saturday January 11

Izzy - I played with a music card today. I danced. I ate pineapple. I slept in the van. 

Meggie - I goed to the bakery with mommy and Isobel. I didn't get a cake. (Note from mommy: we ordered the cake ready for Monday)

Nik - I played with my friend DJ. We played super Mario 3 on the NES. 

Julian - today in super scribble nauts I made an awesome weapon that has its own script.

Max - I want to play Kirby's dream land. 

Claire - 3 sick kids and a working husband is not so fun. But we ended with pizza pasta and garlic bread. Yum. 

Mark - created a new baby snack

I found out a guy got fired for lying. 

Friday January 10

Max - the pie is so good. And I did math with Doug. 

Julian - I have an audition tomorrow for band. And the pie is good. 

Nik - I did all my homework for the weekend already. I am working on shark attack for the trombone. 

Meggie - I got a card for my birthday that plays music

Isobel - I got a card too. And I had pears and pineapple for dinner. 

Joanna - still pregnant

Doug - I am pleased with the progress on the bathroom and to be having dinner with friends

Mark - collected a badge from a now former coworker

Claire - glad to be having dinner with friends before their new baby arrives

Thursday January 9

Izzy - today I put on mommy's boots. They are ankle boots for mommy but thigh high for me!

Nik - I did all my homework. After I do my  chores I can play minecraft

Max - Julian made me my own profile on the wii u

Claire - today I went to see the new office for my agency. It is pretty and fresh ad clean and full of light but far from home. 

Meggie - I watched Nik and Julian play on the tv and my little pony

Mark - long meetings at long

Julian - we got new band music

Wednesday January 8

Max - I got a drink at dinner. That's it. 

Julian - since we had a delay we had a regular end of day so the classes were changed and it sucked.

Nik - for the 2 hour delay I played video games with one of the people at Mrs Webb's

Meggie - I went to school today. I did show and tell. I showed my hello kitty 

Izzy - today I are tiny bananas and clementines. I like fruit. 

Claire - today I had a very intense but very good meeting with lots of smart people. 

Mark - it is strange to go to work late in the morning and be the last one in. 

Claire 2 - it is weird to go to work and be the first one in. 

Tuesday January 7

Meggie - I went to school today but I didn't go outside because it was too cold. 

Claire - I finished knitting a baby outfit today. 

Max - I got French fries from NannyJo 

Julian - I slept until 10 and then read in bed until lunch. Then I did chores and played video games. 

Nik - I did all my chores and homework and the got to play a lot of video games

Izzy - I get mad when there isn't a constant stream of snacks. 

Mark - I can't believe we filled the recycle bin up in one day. 

Sunday January 5

Happy Birthday Henry!

Nik - I had fun with Dylan and Christopher at the party and played with my friend too. 

Julian - today was the birthday party and we all went. Then I made dinner. It wasn't that good. 

Isobel - today was my party. I ate a cup cake and did the zip line and went in a swing. I had a lot of fun. Then I fell asleep in the car on my way home.

Claire - dinner WAS good although not as spicy as expected. We will make it again! Moroccan stew over cous cous. 

Max - I had fun at my gym and ate pizza. 

Meggie - I had my birthday party at my gym and Snow White was there. 

Mark - fancy people still have real kids with real behavior. 

Saturday January 4

Julian - I carried more at Costco than daddy thought I could carry. Happy birthday Isobel

Max - it is Isobel's birthday and I played with my castle blocks and watched Julian play video games. And happy birthday Isobel!

Claire - happy birthday Isobel. I took Meggie and Izzy to get haircuts today. And braved the craft store. 

Meggie - I got a hello kitty at the store and then I got a haircut. I got a lollipop but there were no lollipops so I got my favorite candy which is the one I ate in the car. 

Nik - I played video games a few times and I did all my homework. I am going to have fun with Isobel and Meggie and my cousins and Granny and Papa tomorrow at the party. 

Daddy - Isobel waved to Maria today. And on day 3 of the RAM test the computer I am fixing threw an error. 

Izzy - it is my birthday! And I will cry if I wanna. 

Friday January 3

Izzy - today I said "waffle" and tried pineapple at dinner. I love both. 

Nik - today we came back from our road trip from NY and then played with my friend. 

Max - I tried 2 new foods today. I like cream puffs with chocolate sauce. 

Claire - happy birthday Schumi. Get well soon!

Mark - nice snowfall today. 

Julian - we came home and I took a nap. 

Thursday January 2

Izzy - I did the all done sign at dinner tonight when I didn't want more food. 

Meggie - I played with Olivia and we didn't go to the park

Claire - I got to see tes and mmmqqwagmyre at Teaism today to celebrate tes's birthday

Max - we did not go to the park because it was too cold

Mark - I watched oblivion last night. It is not a movie for Claire. 

Wednesday January 1

Izzy - I am eating pasta and oatmeal while wearing a pale purple sweater Mommy made for Max when he was a baby

Max - I love my mommy and dinner. 

Claire - I am happy to have a new year to celebrate with my family. And soup. 

Meggie - I had a play date today with daddy's work friend. 

Mark - I am ready to take a sledgehammer to the computer I am fixing. The play date went well.
