Tuesday September 24

Izzy - I had pesto pasta today with Meggie

Nik - today I had goldfish shaped bread for a sandwich today. And we had mineral lab where we were looking with magnifying glasses to see what we thought minerals were. 

Daddy -  I talked my boss into not breaking up the team. I used logic. 

Claire - my lunch was saved because my team went out and got me some food. Otherwise I would not have been able to eat lunch today. 

Meggie - I ate special pesto pasta

Max - we have the lava light on the table

Julian - today we had the first half of our science quiz. We did it in halves by picking a Popsicle stick. I got number 15 which meant I did the hands on part first. That was lucky. 

Sunday September 22

Nik - today I went apple picking with my friend dj

Julian - today I got to smash a block of concrete with a sledge hammer

Max - I played outside 

Meggie - I just ate my dinner. 

Izzy - today I ate lentils. 

Claire - I tried a new recipe and everyone liked it. Yay! Crockpot chicken for burritos. 

Mark - I appreciate Nik's help with fixing the garage door lock

Friday September 20

Julian - today in gym I was the best player on the team for touch football. I made 2 interceptions and 3 touchdowns 

Max - tomorrow we are going to stay home and have a play date. I am going to get dressed after breakfast. 

Nik - I was on the news show today. Max was excited to see me. I was the anchorman. 

Meggie - I don't want to do my news

Daddy - Nik worked on dishes today and I appreciate that. 

Claire - today I had a meeting at teaism and had a fantastic ginger scone with real ginger. I am also very excited that we have a good daycare plan in place. 

Izzy - I tried peas at dinner. Whole peas. They were ok.   

Wednesday September 18

Meggie - I played

Julian - I practiced my instrument. And I have a cold. And lunch let out late so most of us were late to band. 

Max - I had sponge bob yogurt

Nik - today I played with my friend dj until 630. I had fun with him. 

Claire - I made Mac and cheese from scratch. And I liked it. 

Izzy - I am having Mac and cheese for the first time. 

Daddy - I completed my aws business partner  accreditation. 

Tuesday September 17

Nik - today we had a fire drill at school

Julian - I went to school and I was the firs person to finish in math. And there was a bonus question. I thought it was too easy so I must be wrong. But I was right. 

Meggie - I can't do my news because I am playing

Max - I had goldfish at dinner. 

Izzy - I love peanut butter

Claire - today I had a piece of red velvet cheesecake cake. It was good. 

Daddy - I am sad that my company lies to me and that Taylor had to contact Claire instead of me to get info

Sunday September 15

Izzy - I walked with the lion toy today. I loved it. I even stood by myself so I could use both hands to hold a toy. 

Meggie - I played with my best friend Max. We played kitchen. 

Max - I got to play Kirby's epic yarn 

Nik - today I went to my friends house and we played in the park and it was fun. 

Julian - I got free stuff and then complained that I didn't get enough free stuff. True story. I also set my alarm to get up and eat a donut and then I went back to bed. 

Claire - we had a busy day. We got a frame for Isobel's 6 month photo. We went to target. We picked up some Lego and books from Patty

Daddy - I am very thankful that Nik and Julian swept. It meant I got to clean up the driveway from where Claire made a big mess. 

Saturday September 14

Izzy - today I tried plums and I likes them

Meggie - I went to the store with mommy and we got ice cream. Then I played with my best friend Max

Max - I got to play video games 

Nik - today I had help to make dinner.  We made chicken tikka masala. It was very good. 

Julian - I got to take a computer monitor apart with a hammer

Claire - today was a good day. I got to take a nap and we got a lot done. 

Daddy - I am thankful that Nik helped mow the front yard. And Julian watched Isobel so I could mow the front.  

Wednesday September 11

Izzy - tonight I tried star pasta with tomato and carrot sauce. I liked it.

Meggie - I goed to school and miss Laurie picked me up

Max -  I am not going to tell the news 

Nik - today at school we had a fire drill

Julian - today on the bus someone had a portable phone charger in an altoids box

Claire - today I was sick again. But hopefully I can go  back to  work tomorrow.

Daddy - back to school night tonight

Sunday September 8

Izzy - I got to try cowboy hot pot for dinner. I liked it. 

Meggie - (meltdown city) I picked figs with my mommy and max and mommy's friend (Keith)

Max - I picked figs. Lots (about 100)

Nik - I played with my friend DJ and I had fun

Julian - today I learned to walk on water

Claire - I got to visit Angie and Joanna today and see Keith

Mark - I learned where a lot of new things were in the grocery store 

Saturday September 7

Izzy - I had a busy day! I helped make fig pie. And I went to a party. And then I ate a lot of dinner. 

Meggie - I just tooked a nap and mommy got me up from the bed where I was sleeping upstairs in my room in my sleeping bag. Daddy picked me up by my leg. I goed to Coles party and I mad a fig pie too. 

Max - I made a fig pie today with Bob with the figs I picked. He has birds. It was a lot of fun. 

Nik - today I played with my friend dj.  As some of his other friends came over too. I didn't get to play with them because I had to go home but at least I got I see them. 

Julian - yesterday when I was running I spooked myself when someone ran past me. And I also almost lost my key. And today while playing minecraft I fixed a machine I did not make. 

Claire - I had a good day making a if pie with Bob and then going to Cole's birthday party. My nap was awesome. 

Daddy - thank you to Nik and Julian for helping out today. Julian chopped up the wood out back. Nik cleared out the weeds in the back yard and cleaned out the window well. Julian also set the mousetrap with peanut butter. 

Friday September 6

Izzy - I took a nap on mommy when she got home

Meggie -  I made a special surprise today with my friend Laurie. It is square and has chocolate chips in it and is yummy

Max - I was at school and I getted to play there. For lunch I had pizza. And chocolate milk. 

Nik - today is Friday and I am happy because it is the weekend. And I had a good first week of school. 

Julian - I went to band but the combination was in my other locker. When I tried to guess the numbers I was one off on every number. 

Claire - I had lunch with a guy who is leaving my office. We had salad. Mine ha blue cheese. It was good. 

Daddy - I'm excited about my newfangled mousetrap.  

Thursday September 5

Izzy - I tried to learn how to snap my fingers today but I am only a baby. I also tried to steal daddy's sandwich.  A lot. 

Meggie - I visited NannyJo

Max - I got to eat my lunch without picking it out. I am excited for tomorrow because it is pizza day. 

Nik - today I started doing my science journal. Today I colored a lot. Now I know I am very good at coloring with crayons 

Julian - today during science I watched a cheesy science video which had foam shooting out of a test tube

Claire - I finished knitting spooky socks for Meggie 

Daddy - I didn't have to go to class today. Yay. 

September 4

Izzy - today I went to the park

Meggie - I can't go to school but I goed to the library. Then I came back home and read my book. And then I went to the dentist. And that is my news for the day. 

Max - I went to the store with my mommy. And I got a trix yogurt. (Also he likes school but it takes too long)

Nik - today my friend dj came home. We talked. 

Julian-I ran around a bunch. I had my second day of school. And I think I will like civics. I have a good teacher. 

Claire - I had lunch with Chris today. I had falafel and hummus. Yum. 

Daddy- we were on time for Nik's appointment. But he didn't brush his teeth well. If he wiggles his loose tooth it will come out faster. So he should do that. 

First Day of School

Izzy - today I said goodbye to cousin Henry and his travel team. For dinner I ate papaya and a biter biscuit. I visited Nannyjo. 

Meg - today I did not go to school but in 7 days I can. Max goes to Nik's school. And I played with Lego and watched Dexter's Laboratory. And I helped my Daddy make pizza for dinner. Daddy put the pizza in the oven and it was hot hot hot in there. And then the timer went ding ding ding and the pizza was done and that is my news for the day. And I visited NannyJo too. 

Max - I getted to go to school and to OT. 

Nik - today I got to meet my new teacher. And I got to meet my new music teacher too

Julian - today the bus came at 650 an the driver said it would always come at that time. An today I was humming the dr who theme song and a guy in my math class recognized it. 

Claire - today I took Max to school for the first time. 

Daddy - I am thankful that Russ and Tracy were willing to drive to visit us.
